HEARTLAND PROM
In the United States, a prom, short for promenade, is a formal (black tie) dance, or gathering of high school students. It is typically held at the end of junior and/or senior year. It figures greatly in popular culture and is a major event among high school students.
Our Camps were founded in 2002 in the heart of Daniel Rice.
HYC is all about our youth. Today's teens are very concerned with their world. They are striving to define who they are. At HYC we appreciate their journey. Our camp session is about motivating teens to understand God's story and helping them tell it. It's about how God's story can be revealed in their lives. It's about making a decision to make God the Lord of their world.
At HKK we are always about a celebration of Jesus' love filled with amazing Bible adventures, unforgettable songs, memory-making crafts, and a life-changing experience. We encourage you to bring your colorful (but not expensive) clothes. And yes, Chadder Chipmunk will be there. At camp we’ll be enjoying the pool, water slide, indoor gym, great food, delicious sweet snacks, great and lively music, entertaining videos, kickball, soccer, Camp Olympics, and of course, Chadder. But most importantly we’ll be spending time with old and new friends, including our greatest friend, Jesus.
