Greater St. Louis Church - Audio/Visual Service Team

/files/My Sample Gallery/Dan's Items/console2.jpgThe A/V Service Team's mission is to utilize multimedia to enhance our praise and worship of God. We are continuing to discover that multimedia can enhance and illuminate our worship experience.  Our sanctuary is equipped with video projectors and LCD screens to display song lyrics, pictures and video clips used during the praise & worship portion of our service.  Scripture references and images are projected to enhance the sermons. We use motion backgrounds designed to help us focus on the glory of our Creator. Our modern sound system resonates quality special music presentations and congregational singing.  We will soon install multimedia systems in other areas of our building.  For example, in our Teen Room, we have already installed a video projector that projects PowerPoint and DVD presentations in lessons, worship, and even fun movie nights.

Each Sunday morning, our children gather together to sing praise and worship songs with to lyrics and choreography shown on the screen.  They are learning the importance and joy of a high powered praise and worship service.

Our High School and Middle School ministries regularly learn lessons presented to them on PowerPoint.  Our Special Teaching service teams presents their classes using our portable video projection system.

Each week our sermons are recorded and placed in our web site's Multimedia Center and in the future we plan to video the sermons as well as other portions of our worship and place that on our web site.

On Sundays our A/V Team, which is led by Dan and Jennifer Trigg, serve with a 2 or 3 person crew to run our sound board, computers, PowerPoint, and operate our sanctuary lighting system.  We are soon going to install a new worship multimedia software called Media Shout which will help us take our multimedia at church to the next level.
